The Loop Road is Open!

The Loop Road is finally open for the season! Come out and explore this beautiful monument! The Cave Area and Lava Tubes remain closed due to seismic activity. The North Crater Flow trail will also remain closed as our maintenance crew works hard to make is wheelchair accessible.

The snow removal crews worked hard clearing away the majority of the snow and ice from the Loop Road. It is still closed to motor vehicles as we wait for the last of the ice to melt off, but it is open to foot traffic and biking. Come stretch your legs and explore the monument!
