Starting Memorial Day weekend, the BookStore and Robert Limbert Visitor Center will open at 9:00am and close at 6:00pm. Come explore this amazing landscape!
The Loop Road is finally open for the season! Come out and explore this beautiful monument! The Cave Area and Lava Tubes remain closed due to seismic activity. The North Crater Flow trail will also remain closed as our maintenance crew works hard to make is wheelchair accessible.
The snow removal crews worked hard clearing away the majority of the snow and ice from the Loop Road. It is still closed to motor vehicles as we wait for the last of the ice to melt off, but it is open to foot traffic and biking. Come stretch your legs and explore the monument!

The Craters of the Moon Bookstore and Visitor Center will be closed Thursday December 24th and Wednesday December 25th for the holidays. We will see you on the 26th! Happy Holidays and travel safe!
